Treasured trailers

Some trailer homes are beloved. No ours. I can’t wait to tear ours down and start framing in our minimalistic modern cabin. But around the Upper Midwest there are others who have embraced their trailers, and I wanted to share some innovative local architectural marvels with you, dear readers.

We pass this marvel on the way to the farm. Check out the creative incorporation of an old pontoon boat as a deck!

I wish I could embrace our trailer they way these folks have….  It’s amazing! It’s an excellent example of recycling!

Meanwhile in my garden, the local wildlife have eaten everything but the zucchini. Sigh.
Some words of wisdom above our front door…

And my own attempt at some trailer appreciation…

Next week should bring a big reveal here on Cabin Rehabin. We’ve been busy with drywall, subflooring, paint and such.  Stay tuned! Cheers!
